I've raised £3500 to provide the Berber community in Imllil valley with food and basic products for the winter.

During 2020, Scenario Architecture, Simple Works and Envision planned to design and build a rubbish collection and recycling centre for the Berber community at the foot of Mount Toubkal, aiming to tackle an ongoing problem with domestic waste.
More information about the original project can be found by following this link.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we suspended the project and had planned to recommence it in 2021.
We recently learned that due to a total stop to incoming tourism since the pandemic started, our Berber friends face much more difficult and urgent problems than domestic waste.
The income of the lovely and welcoming Berber community who hosted and helped us during the first fundraising climb is almost 100% dependent on tourism.
For many families, including the family who hosted us, there is simply no additional source of income and no other way to meet their basic needs.
We decided to park our architectural ambition to build a beautiful and sustainable structure and divert all collected and additional donations towards supporting the occupants of the village who are in most urgent need.
Our partners for the original project, Jane and Abdou from Sublime Morocco , kindly agreed to oversee a direct and fair distribution of the donations between the families who are desperate for food and basic supplies.
Any donations would be greatly appreciated and 100% of your donations will be used to help a local Berber family to survive what is likely to be the worst winter they can remember.
