After 4 years of IVF trying to conceive, we finally got pregnant with our beautiful little princess Miss Imogen-Rose, this was the best feeling in the world and i can not even put into words how happy we was. At our 20 week scan our whole world crashed, they told us that our little princess had a serious heart condition and she wouldn't survive.
They told me to consider termination, this is when i set out to save my baby girl, i sent emails to every heart specialist in the country even America to get help. And one hospital in newcastle answered us. When Imogen was born it was the best day of my entire life, but i couldn't even hold my baby, i gave her a kiss and they took her away not knowing if she would survive. I couldn't see her till the following midday as i had her at night. I wasn't the first to hold her, or feed her but all i wanted was her to be ok and to fight.
At 4 days old she had her first major open heart surgery, it was the scariest time of my life. We were in hospital around a month but when we got to bring her home it was amazing. But then a few months later she had yet another open heart surgery.
In total she has had 4 open heart surgeries and countless procedures, she is only 4 years old and she has to go through so much, if i could swap places with her it wouldn't even be a question. I try my best to give her a full and happy life but money always dictates.
Imogen has a very complex heart condition and this year 2017 is going to be very stressful. She is either going to have the biggest open heart to date which is so scary, or we will be discussing heart transplant which i can't even imagine or talk about.
So why I'm on here is to ask your lovely peoples help in donations so that i can take her to see Father Christmas at Lapland for xmas. This would mean the absolute world to her and us.
