Story

In a moment of madness I appear to have signed up for the Bath Half Marathon on 4th March 2018.

Mid-way through an awful 8 mile 'long run' in freezing, torrential rain on a Sunday morning, I decided I should raise money for a cause close to my heart. That way I can't not turn up at the start line!

The cause I've chosen is Vets in the Community. This is a project that was set up in 2012 to provide free veterinary care to pets belonging to the homeless and vulnerably housed people of Nottingham. The clinics are led by students at Nottingham Vet School, under supervision from experienced, qualified members of staff. They provide health checks, vaccinations, micro-chipping as well as treatment for fleas, worms and minor ailments. This is only made possible by donations and support from sponsors.

Any donations will be very gratefully received, and knowing that people are generously donating their hard earned money will get me to that start line and (hopefully!) over the finish line. Thank you!
