In an attempt to really motivate myself I am going to cover, at least, 25 miles on a treadmill over the course of September. There will be flat bits, there will be inclines, there will be walking and there will be jogging (followed by gasping). I have decided that to give me a little more incentive I will aim to raise funds for my local Theatre (John Peel Theatre, Wigton) and, also for the local SCOPE, my step-daughter has cerebral palsy.

Those who know me will know that I have the body of an athlete (1970's Russian shotputter) so this ain't going to be easy, but a couple of quid might spur me on to try a bit harder.
