The International Meeting of Young Beekeepers (IMYB) is the world’s largest gathering for young people passionate about bees, beekeeping, and building a better future. Since it first began in 2010, IMYB has grown into a global celebration of learning, friendship, and international collaboration, bringing together young beekeepers aged 12 to 18 from over 40 countries.

For the first time ever, IMYB is coming to Northern Ireland in July 2026! IMYB relies entirely on the generosity of sponsors and donors for it to go ahead, and we need your help to make the 2026 event in Northern Ireland a reality.

More than just a competition, IMYB is about inspiring the next generation of beekeepers, encouraging cross-cultural understanding, and nurturing global awareness of the vital role bees play in our ecosystems. This event is building a buzzing global community of young changemakers. Young participants test their knowledge and skills in friendly competitions, take part in cultural exchanges, and form lasting friendships with others who share their love for bees, from Australia, China, South Africa, the USA, and almost every corner of Europe.
