Story

Everyone who met Kamil knows he was an innocent human being with an open heart and smiley face. The recent health problems of his family engaged him completely and put a lot of emotional tension on his shoulders. The situation took a heavy toll on his own health, when on the afternoon of Monday 8 January he found himself in urgent need of medical attention. Putting his trust in the National Health he went to Ealing Hospital looking for help. Unfortunately, the poor medical service he received that evening showed unacceptable levels of irresponsibility and incompetence. Despite the test results indicating necessity of urgent care and hospitalisation and the unbearable pain, Kamil was discharged from A&E. An hour later his heart gave out and he died at home at the age of 34, leaving his lovely family and friends in grief and despair.

The family is asking all friends and colleagues to pray for his soul. We will be honoured if you would like to join us at the Polish Catholic Church in Ealing, W5 5PD, on Thursday 25th January at 7pm for the service in a memory for Kamil.

Due to the ongoing investigative procedures the funeral has been delayed, although we are able to confirm it now is booked for Monday 29th January. It will start in the Chapel of Rest, 3 The Pavement, Pope's Lane, W5 4NG at 1pm, then it will continue with the service of Christian worship in the same Polish Catholic Church at 2:30pm. After the service the ceremony will move to the Mortlake Crematorium in Richmond, TW9 4EN, where at 4pm we will have the last opportunity to say goodbye to Kamil.

Aa a consequence of Kamil’s unexpected death the family is asking for financial support. All the voluntary donations that would otherwise be spent on flowers will be contributed towards the cost of the funeral and will help the family through the most difficult times.

In mourning,

His wife, daughter and sister
