I've raised £500 to Help ward H2 and the bereavement team, who helped care for my dad, continue the amazing work that they do

My dad was admitted to H2 in Salford Royal on Monday 11th June 2018. We were told that my dad had only hours to live. The nurses did everything they could to make our last hours as comfortable as possible, they provided a camp bed for my mum to sleep on, brought tea and coffee facilities to his room so we didnt have to leave him and provide a reclining chair to make things more comfortable. As lovely as this was, this meant that anyone else going through the same things couldnt have same treatment as they do not have the funds to provide this to everyone. The chairs alone are £500 each and the ward pays for them out of their own funds and so far they could only afford 2 for 24 patients. So we would love to be able to buy them at least one and enough to buy a couple of extra kettles etc so other patients can have the same as what we had.
we would also like to raise enough to give some to the bereavement team so that they can continue providing comfort to families during there loved ones last days. They and the staff on H2 made a horrific day just they little bit more bareable.
we know that anything raised will be greatly appreciated
