Well with 4 days to go I'm 95% there thanks to the generosity of friends, family, neighbours and the anonymous. So thanks to everyone - large or small your donations have been really appreciated. When I realised I was close I thought my flexible friend could bridge the gap I don't have to pay until January so I've bought it and the video shows my first tentative out with Muts.

Well I've raised more than 10% the Facebook link on it's own. I'm going to be sending out a mailshot later this week which i hope will generate interest as there's still quite a way to go despite everyone's generosity for which I'm extremely grateful, I had the physio round today and she's going to see if she can arrange a test drive which is probably a good idea - when I found a mobility scooter I liked the look of I crashed it at full speed into wall on the test drive -I've hired a couple of wheelchairs since - they're easier to control.
