1/ I Intend to get vets onboard to neuter street dogs humanely in an attempt to curtail the problem.
2/ set up a street dog shelter which helps to treat sick and hurt dogs.
3/ Also to attempt to home these dogs, which is not an easy task as people prefer breeds or puppies.
It hurts my heart when I see these dogs , scrounging for scraps, mothers giving birth on dirty streets, birthing puppies into a cold , uncaring environment. Street dogs limping or burned and mis/untreated in all weathers.
They are shooed away and kicked and mistreated by people. I recently saw a video on Facebook of children on the street swinging a puppy in the air by its tail and another of a dog having fireworks tied to it and lit - and this clean broke my heart and I thought to myself ' not on my watch !'
I want to go into schools and give talks on awareness of this issue.
So this is my attempt to do something about it , with your help. I cannot do it without you.
I will also raise funds in other ways ,last year i climbed Mount Snowdon. This summer i shall raise funds by climbing Scaffel Peak and raise funds through my instagram page.
'Animal' is a label used by humans . It has such connotations! In fact these sentient , fellow beings are more 'humane' than us .They hurt and love and feel pain just as we do. We need to be the voice they lack .
It's our duty.
I realise this is no mean task I propose to undertake, and I've wanted to help in some way for many years. Now I will - with your help.
It's their world too.
