Story

In loving memory of Mahesh Ramesh Khandagle

Mahesh Ramesh Khandagle, a student of MSc Finance and Investment Banking at the University of Hertfordshire, tragically passed away on 31st March 2026 in an unfortunate drowning incident in Wales.

Mahesh came from a humble, middle-class family in Maharashtra, India. He moved to the UK with dreams of building a better future—not just for himself, but for his family. He was a sincere, hardworking, and grounded individual who carried his values with quiet strength.

To his family, he was a loving and responsible son. To his friends, he was warm, dependable, and full of life.

As one of his close friends shared:

“Today, we remember our dear friend Yash, who went to London to pursue his dreams. He was not only dedicated to his studies but also loved sports like football and cricket. His passion for travelling showed his love for life and new experiences. Yash brought joy and energy wherever he went, and he will always remain in our hearts. Though he is no more, his memories will stay with us forever.”

Mahesh’s sudden passing has left his family devastated, emotionally and financially. They are currently facing significant challenges in managing the expenses related to this situation.

The funds raised will support the family in repatriating Mahesh’s body back to India and help ease their financial burden during this extremely difficult time.

Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference.

We request you to come forward, support, and stand with Mahesh’s family in their time of need.

Let us come together as a community to honour his memory and support those he loved the most.
