My daughter's father was recently diagnosed with brain cancer. When I found out about this devastating news, I wanted to help him raise funds for his treatment.

He is 30 years old and he is a committed father to his 3 years old daughter, a loving brother to a younger brother and sister, and a devoted son to his single mother.

He has a tough dilemma. He doesn't qualify for free treatment on the NHS. Unfortunately, the treatment is very expensive in the UK. He can work and save money for his treatment, but that would mean that as the sole breadwinner for his family he would be unable to support them. 

Since his diagnosis with cancer he has been working doubly hard in construction to be able to pay for the treatment and still help his family. But his stamina is starting to fail him, and his savings are running out fast.

Due to his Heart condition, he can’t do chemotherapy, radiotherapy or have an operation. Doctors say there is a high risk that he won’t survive. Therefore he has been left with a very limited and expensive treatment option.

I would love to help him to raise funds for Proton Beam therapy- that will cost in the region of £100 000-250 000. But before that we have to keep him up and running with his current treatment.

He is undergoing a course of injections which cost £10 000 per injection. He had 3 done so far. This treatment has shown a positive effect and doctors recommend to do 3 more injection in the next 8 weeks but he has no money to pay for it.

All money raised will go towards treatment and any remaining funds will be donated for cancer research.
