I need to employ a lawyer to go into hospital and ask questions on behalf of my husband who is being kept in there. We, the family are receiving no answers to our questions and hence are becoming very suspicious as to their motives. They are not being open or transparent. We the family want him to be transferred to a Community Hospital where he can be rehabilitated but this is not happening. He has been in that hospital for 10 days now and they will not say why it is that he is not being moved. He has no medical condition and so should have been moved on ages ago as that is normal procedure.

Also they are not making any moves on any front. We have expressed a wish that he go via respite care to a rest home but in all of 10 days they have contacted no one about this. They say that they will keep the family informed but nothing is coming back to us. We are very concerned. All they say is that it is entirely their responsibility and not ours to get him where we want him to be which is into a care home asap. We the family are not being informed and now know due to the time that has passed that we never will be.

We do not know how much this, lawyers fees will cost but do require funding in order to pursue this course of action.
