Story
Hi everyone,
We’re raising £4,000 to help 8 year old Inhar Asaad Jibril, a brave girl from Sudan, get the surgery she needs to save her vision.
When war broke out in her hometown of El Obeid, Inhar was at school. During the chaos, militias entered the city, and shrapnel hit her right eye during random shooting. Despite having surgery to remove the fragments, she sadly lost sight in that eye. Since then, her other eye has started swelling and tearing constantly. After consulting several doctors, she was diagnosed and recommended for a corneal transplant surgery costing £4,000.
Inhar’s family has lost their home due to the war and are now staying with relatives in Egypt. On top of her physical struggles, Inhar is dealing with PTSD and experiencing night terrors almost every night.
Inhar's family and I are asking for your help in raising funds for the procedure. Any contribution big or small will make a difference. Please also share this fundraiser with your community or anyone who could help.
Thank you all for your kindness and support!
