I've raised £3000 to give Blaine the best send off we can, and help raise awareness of male mental health

On Saturday 8th of August, we received heartbreaking news that Blaine Sheppard, 20 had passed away unexpectedly without warning and explanation.
Blaine grew up in Stanford Bedfordshire with his 4 older brothers, Mum, Dad, Nan and lots of his loving extending family.
He endured so much pain in his short life, much of which he kept to himself until the end and beyond; from losing his beloved Dad as a young teenager to completely uprooting and starting a new life in Whaplode, lincolnshire.
As a child, Blaine could only be described as a quiet boy, very shy but so loving, and would often be found either chilling with his mates in Holbeach or enjoying fitness and boxing in his favourite red trainers. (that no one was allowed to touch!)
He loved Tottenham Hotspurs and spent much of his time trying to convert his nieces and nephews to joining the spurs family.
Sadly Blaine grew to become a lovely young man of very few words, hence the reason for creating this crowd funding page.
We are still trying to piece together and trying to understand the sadness he must have carried. Its excrutiatingly difficult to accept Blaines decision to end his heartache, but suicide is something only the victim will truly understand.
As the family and friends of Blaine, we are hoping to come together to give him the send off he truly deserves. Our aim is to support the cost of the funeral as during these difficult times every penny helps. If there is money left, it will go towards a memorial bench that will be placed in the park where Blaine spent his last few moments on this earth. This way, family and friends will have a place to go to remember him.
We as a family have set this page up for Blaine. So we want everybody to write messages, stories and anecdotes on here. This is a page to remember him and celebrate his life. We would appreciate any donation that people can afford. Whether its £2 or £20, all any amount will be greatly appreciated.
