Story

In 2012 Tony was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimers disease.
None of us knew how much it would affect our family, but Tony rode the storm with dignity pride and so much love for his family, enjoying his grandchildren and having us all around him.
Caring for a loved one with Alzheimers is extremely difficult and as Tony was diagnosed at the young age of 57, his lovely wife June was still working.
The Woodville Centre in Ham who looked after Tony so kindly, compassionately, and with dignity, made it a happy place for him to be.
They also put our minds and worries at ease knowing he was being well cared for which is so important when the life changes of someone with Alzheimers or dementia.
We feel so lucky to have had a safe facility like this for Tony.
We would love for you to donate to the Woodville Centre in Ham instead of buying flowers in Tony's memory as he would have wanted to thank the staff for everything that was done for him, and to help others at the Centre to make happy memories.
