Story

As-Salāmu 'alaykum All, (May Peace be Upon you)

With the recent and sudden loss of our dear brother, relative/friend Asad Siddiq, we want to bring to attention the following ḥadīth (saying of the Prophet) of Sa'd bin 'Ubādah:

When his mother died, he asked the Prophet (صلى الله عليه وسلم), “O Messenger of Allāh, my mother passed away, so can I give charity on her behalf?” The Prophet said, “Yes”. Sa'd asked, “So what form of charity is best?” The Prophet said, “Providing water.” [An-Nasā’ī - Ḥasan, Al-Albānī]

We are aiming to raise £2600 to build a Community Well which can serve and save thousands of people, livestock and crops forever.

Asad was a hard-working, caring, genuine and easy-going Son, Relative, and Friend to many. He was helpful and always looked after his parents in all of their daily needs.

Please embody this same selfless spirit of his and generously donate towards our chosen cause of building a well in his name.

Thank you, Jazākumullāh khayran (May God reward you all).

Raheem Siddiq and Ibrahim Siddiq - Asad's brothers.
