On the morning of Friday 30th April, without warning, my sister Deborah suffered a massive brain haemorrhage.
Despite the best efforts of the paramedics and the surgeons, doctors and nurses at Royal Preston Hospital, they were sadly unable to save her.
She passed away peacefully surrounded by family and the love of her friends on Weds 5th May aged 44.
A beautiful, kind, gentle, funny, brilliantly gifted, modest soul with a quiet but steely resolve, Deb was a treasured mother, partner, daughter, auntie, sister and friend. She held a genuine love for the important things in life; family, friends, food & drink, music, dancing and the great outdoors; all of which she enjoyed to the full. She loved and cared deeply about her work as a stained artist and she was incredibly good at what she did. Often she didn't appreciate just how good.
Deb will leave a huge hole in the lives of all who knew and loved her and she will be missed beyond words.
Having actively signed up as an organ donor a number of years ago, one of Deb's last acts has been to directly help to save the lives of multiple others. Her entire family have taken a great amount of consolation from this.
All monies donated in Deborah's memory will be shared equally among the following:
The Critical Care Unit: Preston Royal Hospital
On behalf of Deborah's family - thank you ❤
