I've raised £1000 to support the development of an educational fund in memory of Fiona Braidwood

This special fund has been created in memory of Fi Braidwood, from Banwell, North Somerset, who died aged 17 at Southmead Hospital on the 30th of March 2016, following a car accident in which she sustained a serious head injury.
On the 20th of May 2018, Fi's sister Ally, and her friends from university are running the Great Manchester Run 10k. This day will be particularly special as it would have been Fi's 20th birthday. It has been two years since Fi passed away leaving so many broken hearts behind. Although we are anxious for the upcoming race, we are empowered knowing that Fi would have risen to the challenge.
Fi loved learning and in her honour, the Braidwood family are in the process of developing Fees (Fiona's Enrichment Education Support) Fund which will enable young people to enrich their learning, both locally where Fi herself studied and further afield at Durham University where Fi had ambitions of studying.
This fund will be available to young people and groups of young people who want to pursue enrichment activities- it will remove financial barrier and support young people to following their dreams and reaching their potential.
Applications can be made to the trust fund and recipients will be encouraged to share their stories about the impact the bursary has had on their life to help promote and encourage future applications.
Fi's family are extremely grateful for any contributions towards Fi's bursary fund. Thank you x
