In memory

Story

For those of you knew Luke, you know he was the life of the party and had a cheeky smile that would light up any room. Luke sadly took his own life in December and has left a huge void in many lives. He had a heart of gold and was the most caring and considerate son, brother, grandson, uncle, cousin, nephew and best friend that anyone could ever dream of. The aim of this fundraiser is to rise as much money and awareness for MIND charity, who have been fantastic in supporting Luke's family and friends in what has been such a difficult time. The aim is also to raise as much awareness as possible, so that anyone out there who is going through a tough time, knows that they are not alone and that there is support there for them.

On the 15th August, a number of us will be completing one of two endurance events in order to raise this money; A Marathon or a 100 mile bike ride. The more support we receive, the better. Whether that is through sponsorship, donations or cheering us on as we go, we would welcome all of these. After the event, there will be a celebration at The Junction Pub with a BBQ and a number of pints being drunk. There will be more details to follow so keep an eye on this space.

Luke (Deeth) you will never be forgotten.
