Story

Paul Bennett worked at Volunteer Edinburgh for 18 years. Paul was an integral part of our organisation, and he was known to many thousands of volunteers who he helped and to all of the organisations that he guided and supported when they were looking for volunteers.

Paul was kind, funny, completely genuine and a total one-off. He was a talented photographer and a creative web designer. Above all else Paul was a dedicated father. His children: Aarun, Jasmine and Jessica, were his world and his complete focus.

His friends at Volunteer Edinburgh want to raise £2000 to help support the ongoing education of his twin daughters Jasmine and Jessica, who live in Thailand with their mother, Paul’s partner Jeab. When he knew his time was limited all Paul cared about was making sure that his girls were looked after and given the best possible education. Paul lived a very frugal life and he did this to make sure that he could give as much as he possibly could to support his girls and make sure they had the best start in life.

We want to remember Paul in the best way we can and help his family as best we can by supporting the education of his young daughters. Please help us if you are able to.

You can read some more about Paul on Volunteer Edinburgh's website .
