I've raised £1000 to help fund our Busy Kids Club

We have created a safe space for support, education and development of children from Ukraine. It is called the Busy Kids UA . The children can access it from any location via an online calendar and telegram channel.
In our calendar you will find: Art therapy, Evening reading of children’s books, Languages, Active games for children of different ages, Drama therapy, Python and Scratch and other basics of programming, various classes about the most fascinating things and many other lessons.
This after-school club was created in an immediate response to the ongoing war in Ukraine that forced many children to flee their homes and find refuge in other countries. A lot of our teachers are based in Ukraine and are still facing regular bombings and power outage. They all have been teaching children on a volunteer basis since March 2022. We want to raise money to support them and give them some sort of income in gratitude for their continuous support and input in so many children's lives.
At this stage we have around 2500 pupils in our telegram channel. Some classes have more than 40 pupils at once. We believe that a small project that stemmed from an urgent need to distract children during bombings has grown to become and impactful source of support for many children still in Ukraine and many having to adapt to a new world and a new language elsewhere.
We are also in process of setting up a library for children to be able to use physically in Warsaw, Poland and will be updating you along our journey.
