Story
Innellan Bowling and Tennis Club situated by the magnificent Firth of Clyde, has, for the last 167 years, provided the local community with opportunites to bowl and play tennis in surroundings second to none. The only club in Cowal to offer both bowls and tennis to people of all ages over the age of 8, it is a friendly club that welcomes new members and once the covid restrictions are lifted, visiting players.
Today, in 2021, the club is recovering from the knock-on effects of the pandemic. Funds are desperately needed to update its facilities and complete some much-needed refurbishments to its pavilion. The club's aim is to keep these facilities available for at least another 167 years! Any donations, however small, will be much appreciated. 3 years agoThanks so much to all our supporters. We've had a really great response so have increased our target whilst donations are still coming in. We might even be able to renew the perimeter fencing round the tennis courts which would, as well as smartening up the club, save us hunting for tennis balls in the stream after they've escaped! Thanks again.

Loved playing tennis and pingpong here as a kid. The fun days were legendary too! Face painting, eating a doughnut without licking my lips, etc! Good luck with the fundraising.
