Binning the Booze for 100 Day !

Many people who know me know I do love the odd tipple or 10 ! Like many women I found myself in a rut I could not seem to get out of. I was drinking more and more each day to relax, console myself, celebrate or simply because it was a day with day in it ! I was a bit of an over enthusiastic evening drinker.

Now it's time to stop using alcohol to get me out the rut ( because it's failing) and live life as it's meant to be lived. I have challenged myself to give up alcohol for 100 days ! Now I'm not too sure uncle Gordon's or auntie Hardy's will want to sponsor me but will you ?

The women of Corby and East Northant's are made of sturdy stuff ! But like women everywhere, we all have times in our lives when we really could do with some support or a boost to our confidence to help us develop, grow and unleash our (all to often hidden) talents. Without this our " Inner Voices" remain hidden, unheard and potential gets lost.

The aim of the network is to give a helping hand at these times. Whether it's a problem at work or feeling held back in a career, juggling Mummy time with work time and not finding time for me time, feeling lost when empty nest syndrome kicks in ( that ones a real dozy to deal with), simply discovering who we are or finding ourselves in the terrifying trap of loneliness.

The set up funding will go a long way to building the network and getting the word out. It will allow us to book venues to hold groups, put on events and workshops.

I'm not sure I would have made it out of my darkest hour without the support of some amazing women.......
