I've raised £2500 to help in funding our own Gymnastics Centre

We're a small gymnastics club in the North East of England with around 100 gymnasts currently in our classes and a waiting list of around 12 months. Our classes are spread over 2 venues which means we have to take care of and purchase 2 sets of equipment. In order to enable our gymnasts to reach their maximum potential we need to find 1 suitable venue to run our classes from and kit it out with equipment. The majority of the equipment we currently have is second hand and has seen better days, we're worried that we're going to need to replace both sets of equipment before too much longer which we don't have the funding to do.
The demand for gymnastics in the area is huge, we're hoping to be able to increase the number of classes we run allowing more children to take part. Childhood obesity is on the rise throughout the UK so it's important that we're able to continue with what we do.
In July 2019 we have a team of 10 gymnasts travelling to Austria to take part in World Gymnaestrada. The cost for the event alone is £950 per child with additional training fees on top, our own venue would make a significant difference to the team as we're currently having to hire other facilities to train in.
