Utilising the amazing community spirit we have in Inverclde, local musicians ‘The Laurettes’ have launched a facebook group ‘Inverclyde Lockdown Live’ that showcaes local talent from Inverclydes’ finest musicians! The page supports live performance gigs with special themed events such as ‘Sofa Sessions Live’ ‘Musicals Monday’ and now local pubs ‘Open Mic,’ each week. The group is doing its best to keep the morale high in these unprecedented times. After fantastic feedback, a wide audience and support of over 4000 people, we hope to use this platform to raise as much money as possible to do our bit and help our local NHS superheros and key workers on the front line!
