I've raised £3000 to help Georgia and Hattie create a new charity for people suffering with invisible, incurable disabilities.

Georgia and Harriet are sisters who both live with rare and complex brain conditions; Chiari Malformation and Syringomyelia. These illnesses have had a dramatic and extremely challenging impact on their lives. Not only do they spend so much time battling their disabilities, they also battle with the constant stigma and judgment that comes with having an 'invisible' disability. (Even some doctors don't know anything about this these illnesses).
Together, the girls have decided to take on a huge challenge - to dedicate their lives to help others living with 'invisible' disabilities all over the country. With your help they will be able to set up a support network, dedicate their time to creating and producing awareness campaigns, create products that will help the lives of other sufferers and create a huge support and positive platform for all, including friends family of sufferers. Every single penny we raise will go directly to this Charity start up.
People often ask what the term invisible disability means. To define invisible disability in simple terms is a physical, mental or neurological condition that limits a person’s movements, senses, or activities that is invisible to the onlooker. Unfortunately the very fact that these symptoms are invisible, can lead to misunderstandings, false perceptions and judgments.
