We were launched by Emma Louise - a Y10 Tutor Group at Five Islands Academy.

Our idea sprang from the Restorative Justice Ripple Effect training we all did in school - from the circle of equity we create as a group where everyone is seen and heard:

Wouldn't it be brilliant to give the young Syrian families who are resettling in Cornwall a holiday on the Isles of Scilly!

There's still a way to go to make our vision happen - lots to think about and prepare - but we're on our way and our fundraising so far has been amazing!

We've been growing our friendships with Syrian children and young people in Cornwall - look at the lovely logo that was designed and printed at our Eid get-together in Cornwall earlier this year!

Building on the funds raised through our Festive Fun and Walk to Welcome, we are hosting another round of Christmas Giving in our school and Island community.

Thank you so much for helping us to WELCOME our Syrian friends to the Isles of Scilly.
