    Story

On Saturday 2nd September, Snoopy and I along with some of our equally mad friends from Merseyside Beagle Club will be taking part in a 15 mile sponsored walk to raise funds for the club's two chosen charities, Unite to Care and Beagle Welfare.

Unite to Care are a non profit, UK based, organisation run by dedicated volunteers whose mission is to negotiate the release of any laboratory animals (many of whom as beagles) whilst pushing to replace animal tests with modern, safer testing methods. These animals are then placed into forever homes so that they can begin to live happy, healthy, normal lives.

Beagle Welfare gives help and advice on the breed and re-homes those dogs whose owners, for whatever reason, are unable keep them. In 2016 the charity found homes for more than 300 of these delightful, but sometimes difficult, little hounds and the number of Beagles still waiting for homes always exceeds the number of homes they have waiting.

Therefore I am after your hard earned cash to help support the valuable work these two fantastic charities do. For those of you who would like to sponsor me but prefer to do so via sponsor form I have one at home and one in work (so there's no escape) so just let me know and I'll add you to the list.

Thank you for your support, Irene x
