Every year more than 1500 children are diagnosed with cancer in Kazakhstan, and many of them have an advanced stage of disease. From the moment of diagnosis on those children fight against the disease with their parents and doctors going through long-term treatments, surgeries and post-surgery recovery. These all bring about a deterioration of the social and psychological environment as children are no longer able to go to school, attend public places and take part in public events as well as be involved in extracurricular activities.

By force of those conditions many children suffer from depression as they lose hope day by day, and unfortunately those kids and their families are virtually all alone in such a difficult situation.

So the Center is believed to give tangible support to them by means of the diverse activity progamme especially designed to open unconventional ways to the kid's development.

The stay of such children in the Centre will be free of charge. Duration of stay is 4 weeks. The maximum capacity will be 40-50 children at a time. Age: from 3 years old up to 18.

This fundraising is enhanced by the newly launched Community Initiative of our employer, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, that aims to double (!) the amount raised, subject to minimum EUR3,000 and maximum EUR50,000 raised. So we hope to help the Center make lives of children diagnosed with cancer significantly better!
