Story
My name is Isaac, I am 14 years old, and in April next year I will be going on 10-day expedition with my school to a small, remote village in Ghana called Nyagbo Sroe. The purpose of the visit is to take part in a community project to help build a kindergarten. As you can see by the photograph, the current kindergarten has a roof and a floor, but no walls, and as the village is on top of a hill, this leaves it open to all the elements - our team will be helping the village to make the bricks, build the walls and lay a concrete floor. We will also be getting involved in teaching, and learning about the local culture.
In order to go on the trip I need to raise over £2,000, and have been making a number of fundraising efforts over the past months. One of my future efforts is a 23-mile cycle ride around Rutland Water on 16th September. It's a while since I rode a bike at all, so this is going to be quite the challenge! Please help by sponsoring me. Thank you!
