I am going to be going away to Nepal in 2018 with the World Challenge organisation where myself and many other people will be trekking up mountains, helping out the community, rebuilding schools so children can get a good education, getting to experience the life of Nepalese people and exploring the world around us! It is a great opportunity to discover other cultures and learn just how important it is to come together. I will have to raise the bar in terms of physical fitness, communication, teamwork and organisation, all highly valuable skills I will be able to continue using after I return home from the trip. Engaging with another culture during the trip brings global awareness that can’t be extracted from books. I will return from our expedition with enthusiasm, energy and the desire to travel and learn more! I hope that you can help make all of this possible!
