This has been identified as a way of getting more children in the school participating and learning.

To contribute a class set is about £26.15.

Nick is a maths and science teacher and advisor working in vulnerable schools (where MORE THAN HALF of the children will leave education.) This is where he saw the problem of students not feeling involved and came up with the idea of getting the students boards. It has grown from there with amazing results!

We want to change it so if a teacher asks a question, everyone can answer. All the students can be involved - and the involved students are MUCH more likely to see the value of staying in school.

Small boards are really simple to use and our teachers love them and are keen to teach the teachers on the techniques. This is a low-cost solution that can be both sustainable and effective.

(Isabel is an old school friend of Nick's. They played cards at break time. She has also ended up working in education, when she found out Nick was doing this she wanted to help and is doing so by managing the just giving page in the UK - but all the hard work is done by Nick!)
