In July I will be travelling to Cambodia with the organisation World Challenge. Whilst there we will be trekking through the jungle, staying in hammocks along the way in order to reach a small village where we will be doing charity work in the community. We'll also be taking on roles throughout the trip such as leader and treasurer which will help us when planning everything including our accommodation, food and transport.

I have raised almost £2000 so far by making and selling cards and homemade wooden Christmas trees, selling Gisela Graham gifts, waitressing, cleaning the cricket club and working as a lifeguard.

I have a final £600 to raise, and this is why I have decided to do a sponsored event. For this I will be undertaking a 10km race on the 16th of June. I have chosen running as it is an activity that I don't find easy, therefore, I thought it would be a challenge, as well as helping me get fitter for the expedition. I am currently training 3 to 4 times a week, please help me to reach my goal!
