Story

Library Fundraising Project for ISL

We are raising funds for our Alma Mater, International School University of Lagos, fondly referred to as ISL. The school was founded in November 1981 as an organ of the University of Lagos - to provide first class secondary school education of international standard. In 1985, the school was inspected and granted recognition and approval to present students for SSCE and GCE O’Levels by the WAEC and the Federal Ministry of Education. We were privileged to be the first set to sit the WAEC in 1986.

Following years of under-funding and neglect by the government, the school’s infrastructure has deteriorated and the school has struggled to continue offering the first class education for which it was created. The school has several needs including a generator, a library, a laboratory, just to mention a few. The Class of 1986 alumni has therefore embarked on a project to build a library for the school in order to provide a positive learning environment and preserve the excellent standard of the school into the future.

While we are seeking the most cost-effective solution and actively raising funds, we need help to make our efforts go even further! To help us achieve our mission, we would appreciate any donation you are able to offer. Thank you in advance for your contribution.

We aim to raise a total of N16M. A full estimate of the project cost is available on request and you will be updated with information on how your donation is used.
