I've raised £700 to fund my trip to Uganda

My church (Christ Church Winchester) has a partner church in Kisoro, and they’ve organised for us to visit them for 2 weeks this July.
We will be joining in with the youth conference they’re holding there in the mornings where we will be looking at the Bible and following the teaching programme the Ugandan team have prepared. In the afternoons we will probably be spending time engaging in existing community projects such as school assemblies, building projects, and perhaps visiting the Special Care Baby unit, but it all depends on what will be most helpful for the community. The evenings will be spent in our Winchester group to worship and pray together as well as reflect on what God is saying to and doing in us as individuals. There are 14 churches within an hour’s walk of our accommodation so we will spend our Sundays visiting churches in the parishes.
We will finish our time with a short retreat by a lake so we can rest and debrief before we come back to the UK.
My aim is to personally seek and pursue God in a vastly different culture to the one in which I live as well as develop personal skills and to learn from this different culture. I’m also really excited to partner with a team of similar aged Ugandan young people and to learn and work closely together.
