An urgent update on Rawaa and the dogs. Rawaa has been in hospital in Beirut for several months having had multiple operations on her brain. Her condition remains critical. Her family have exhausted all their means paying for her medical care. We need to raise money to help. On top of this, the dogs are losing their shelter, a new one has to be found - the funds to pay for it, as well as the ongoing food and vet bills. Rawaa has devoted her life to these dogs. Please help if you can .

No words can explain the suffering of street dogs in Lebanon even at the best of times. They are deemed pests, chased away when they come near houses, they are poisoned, they are shot for stepping onto a garden or taking some scraps of food. They are deliberately hit by cars. Puppies are thrown off buildings, have their ears or limbs cut off. Rawaa has been rescuing these tortured and injured dogs in the Bekaa valley for the past 4 years. It is a lifetime mission that needs alot of support.
