I have a wonderful friend, one of the loveliest people from one of the kindest families, and her 34-year-old sister Charley (mother to an 18-month daughter) is battling cancer.
 
Charley’s life doesn’t have to end – there are buckets of hope in the form of immunotherapy – a cure that, save its price tag, would see Charley destroy this cancer.
 
It’s all too easy to acknowledge the horror of the situation but lack the conviction that we can change the outcome. But the fantastic news is that we CAN change the outcome! And this family, these siblings, these parents, this daughter, this partner, these friends, desperately need us to help them.

I have legs. Two in fact. I believe this means I have the potential to run..!! Coupled with the fact that I struggle to think of anything I would rather not do, I think this has the makings of the perfect charity fundraiser!

So in 12 weeks’ time, I will run 13.1 miles to raise money for Charley. It would be so fantastic if you are able to donate any money you can spare/find/acquire.
