Story
Issie Barnes is 14 years old and started playing cricket at the age of 8. Her cricket club coach at the time, Phil Palfreyman, put her forward for a trial with the under 13 girls County Cricket & that was the start of where she is today!
She played for two seasons under 13 and this year moved up to under 15's of which she is captain. As well as playing u15 she is playing u17, Leicestershire Ladies Vixens as well as a lot of club cricket.
Last year she was invited to play in Birmingham in the national indoor, then this year she did it again but was then invited to trial for the Action Indoor Cricket England in the Junior World Series being held in New Zealand in October. It is the first time ever England have sent a team so it is even more special to have been selected.
Unfortunately though, it comes at a cost and there is no funding available for junior indoor cricket which is where the fundraising comes in.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity so it is so important that we can make it possible for her to go & represent her country.
Any donation, no matter how small would help her fulfil her dream of representing England.
Any money raised would go towards flights, accommodation, kit etc.
