Mexico is a lovely place full of wonderful people but unfortunately it was hit by several earthquakes and Mexico city, where we grew up has been seriously damaged.

When you hear your own family saying "We are afraid" or "I'm terrified" it leaves you with a freezing sensation in your blood and feeling helpless. Even though, in Mexico city we are used to earthquakes and we don't get afraid so easily.

We are living here in the United States and we feel the need to help the less fortunate. My Mom is volunteering in a Hospital, while my brother went to a collapsed building to help rescue people. He was so fortunate to witness the amazing rescue of a man from inside tons of bricks and cement. My cousin and her husband helped in the school that collapsed as well. And more family members and friends are directly helping.

For this reason we are asking the people who know us and the people for whom this cause is near your heart and can understand the situation to help us raise money so we will be able to send it over to Mexico and help as much as we can.

If you prefer to donate to a specific Charity or organization, there are many as well, just like Amazon has joined forces with Red Cross of Mexico to help as well. But if you would like to donate here with us, we assure you that besides the 5%fee for justgiving website, your money will go to the victims of this devastating Earthquake.
