We are launching a fundraising in Iyad's memory, to support two animal shelters:

Battersea Animal Shelter https://www.battersea.org.uk/. Battersea is one of London's largest animal shelters & took in Blue, Iyad's cat, and found a suitable, loving home for him.

Humane Center for Animal Welfare https://www.hcaw-jordan.org/. The HCAW in Iyad's native Jordan does terrific work consistently homing 400 animals.

Iyad has long been a supporter of animal shelters and in his final days asked that any charitable work in his honour benefits them.

Both shelters have been extremely supportive and will be undertaking various special efforts including naming care rooms in Iyad's honour, subject to meeting certain fundraising targets.

We have two separate pages on JustGiving. The first one is for donations in support of the Battersea Animal shelter (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/iyad-qasem). We recommend that all UK residents donate to this cause as all eligible donations will be matched by a Gift Aid contribution and will be sent directly to the charity. Jordan based donors are encouraged to contribute on (https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/iyad-qasem-jordan) where donations will benefit the Humane Center for Animal Welfare in Amman.
