Story

I am helping raise funds so me and my mum can build a new house for a really poor family of 5 in Bangladesh. Estimate cost of building the house £4000. This from my mum - Homelessness is huge problem in Bangladesh and many living in overcrowded huts made of mud and straw or family of 4 living in 1 room in huts. In response to this I am trying to make small difference in some of these peoples lives by providing a solid roof over their heads as saddaka Jariyah.

In 2019 I have lost my dad and his last wish was to be buried in Bangladesh near his mum and dad. This was against all of us sibling. At first I was upset he made this decision but now I understand why. Because he wanted us to see the poverty people living in Bangladesh. I remember when my dad use ask to give our saddaka and zakat to give in Bangladesh and I use to say dad I have already given it other poor country they are in desperate need as they are in war torn country. Dad use to say that's brilliant but also try and give some in Bangladesh as they are also in desperate need you need to see this with your eye by living with these people. When ever I we went Bangladesh we went travelling around Bangladesh to see the beautiful part of Bangladesh and to engrossed in our enjoyment. Taking my dad's coffin to Bangladesh and staying 10 days in Bangladesh in village opened my eyes and mind to feel for people in Bangladesh I was in tears wished I could help everyone. We live in small luxury and full of attitude and confidence and these people struggle to meet ends meat daily. Their eyes are full of uncertainty and sadness.

So I have decided to take small amount of stress away from these people and build houses for them. Alhamduliallah I have completed 1 house for one widowed women with 4 daughters last year as saddaka Jariya for my dad and father in law which cost me £3500 and nearly £1000 was raised through charity from my generous family and friends. May Allah give them abundance health and wealth and remove any hardship from them.

This saddaka we are raising is for another housing project in Bangladesh for a very needy family of 5 currently living in a hut and struggle in rainy weather as their house gets flooded every time it rains.

So if you can help by donating any amount towards building this house would be greatly appreciated and Allah will also reward you for giving saddaka. Saddaka Jariyah is voluntary act of long-term charitable contributions that continues to benefit someone other than yourself.

Allaah has prescribed for him acts of worship by means of which he may attain great reward in this world and in the Hereafter.

These deeds and acts of worship are not limited to this world only, rather Allaah has prescribed means of increasing one’s good deeds after one's death, namely ongoing charity (sadaqah jaariyah), as the Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “When a man dies, his good deeds come to an end except three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge and a righteous son who will pray for him.” 'Umar gave it in charity and stipulated that it was not to be sold, given as a gift or inherited, and he gave it in charity to the poor, relatives and slaves, for the sake of Allaah.

This is what is narrated in the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him): “Whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allaah, even if it is like the nest of a sand grouse, Allaah will build for him a house in Paradise.” The hadeeth gives an example of building the smallest thing possible.

Don’t limit your relationship with Allah to specific seasons. Don’t wait for a calamity to strike that  forces you to knock on His door. Don’t wait for a blessing or a gift from Him to remind you of His presence.
