Hi, I’m Izzie. I’m 5 and a half years old and I love Koalas. I visited my uncle in Melbourne, Australia for Christmas 2019 and he took me to Melbourne zoo. I saw my very first Koalas (and wombats) and fell in love with them. Sadly the Australian wildfires also started around that time and this has had a devastating affect on the Australian wildlife. There used to be 100,000 Koalas in the wild. Now there is only 43,000 and the wildfires have unfortunately contributed to this. They are now classified as functionally extinct. We need to look after them and their habitats so I want to do my bit from the other side of the world.

I am raising money for the protection, research and care of these wonderful animals.
