I've raised £200 to Help fund a PICC Line chair for the Banbury Brodey Cancer Centre

This year I am running the Norwich 10K and hoping to raise some funds for the Brodey Cancer Centre in Banbury to help them fund a new chair for PICC line procedures. These lines make a real difference to cancer patients who have degenerated/hard to find veins, the line is put in in a small medical procedure and stays in for the course of their treatment, meaning they don't have to worry about being prodded and poked looking for a suitable vein each time. I know this made a real difference for my mum, and the other patients we have spoken to who had them in. Currently patients have to travel to Oxford to have these lines in, so a chair at the Banbury centre would make a real difference for elderly or less mobile patients. The centre is a wonderful place with amazing staff who really do care for all their patients and I would like to be able to give something back after how amazing they have been. We all know I am not a runner, I prefer the comfort of professional pie and gin lifting ;) However, I will run, jog, walk and crawl my way round this years 10k for this cause. Any amount of donation would be gratefully received, and I will be sure to keep you updated with sweaty and worn out photos of me at the finish line that you can all have a giggle at.
Thanks!
Izzy
