I've raised £250 to help support the Many Tears Animal Rescue which relies on donations to continue.

Many Tears Animal Rescue is based between Carmarthen and Cross Hands, and started back in 2004 thanks to Sylvia and Bill, and now homes over 3,000 dogs a year as a non-profit organisation. Alongside the rescue, Sylvia and Bill also have a boarding business (which is how they support themselves) and their own home. This allows them to be fully invested and hands on with the rescue and the animals that they help.
I’ve completed two half-marathons before, but these were 6 years ago and I gave up running long-distances as I was continually damaging my knee. I am now choosing to run the Cardiff half-marathon because I know this will be a challenge for me, and hope that people will sponsor me because of this. I would appreciate any donation you can give! Whilst training for this I’ve convinced myself that I’m 50% snail, but as long as I can raise some money for Many Tears and complete the race I’ll be happy. I will be running this alongside my mum, so if you would like to sponsor her as well please feel free! :-)
The rescue has a wish list on amazon that enables you to purchase the items that are needed at the rescue centre, so you know exactly where your money goes and what good it does for the animals in need.
