As educators at Cardinal Hume Catholic School we value the importance of every child having the opportunity to access learning in a safe environment.

Our school has been raising money to build a dormitory for girls at Chilhame school in Malawi so that they can exercise their rights to an education without fear of rape or exploitation to and from school .

Along with my friend and colleague Antonia Armstrong and a group of 6th form students, we have the opportunity to visit the school in July 2019. We will be not only teaching the pupils but will be decorating the dormitory and ensuring the girls have a suitable and comfortable place to sleep during the week.

We wish to raise money to enable us to provide beds , bedding and essential items .
