Jack and Mel are a young couple who have lost everything that they had together in their Norwich flat. They are such wonderful, genuine people who were welcoming their kitten, Bemo, to her forever home when the fire started.

The devastating fire engulfed their flat. On top of feeling shaky, struggling to find a place to sleep for the next few weeks, and having to ask a friend to keep Bemo the kitten for them, Jack and Mel have few clothes left.

They'll need new furniture and bedding, basic clothes, new electricals, and whatever else that can be replaced. They need a new place to live and money for food while they are repairing their lives.

There's also a long list of things that can't be replaced; the vinyl collection and vintage clothes and custom skateboards. Gone are the heirlooms and photos of deceased family.
