I've raised £1000 to Go towards my World challenge trip to Mongolia where I will be trekking, exploring, and helping children at a summer camp for orphans.

I am Jack Brench and in the summer of 2018 alongside 23 others I will travel to Mongolia as a group of students from Kirkbie Kendal school. This is a once in a lifetime experience in which we will trek through remote areas, beautiful wilderness, thick pine forests and across mountains. We will be trekking for up to eight hours a day and some days we will spend up to five hours on horseback. Also as part of our expedition we will spend a number of days helping and spending time with children from a summer camp for orphans. This time could see us building or repairing facilities, organising and guiding activities for the children, buying food and class resources from local shops, or educating the children in the classroom.
During my expedition I will have to budget for food with the money I take with me and also organise transport and accommodation along with my other challengers. A big part of the challenge is raising the money in the first place. So far I have organised and helped out with various different fundraising activities at school , such as: bingo nights, quizzes and cake sales. I have also been selling items at car boots and on eBay as well as saving up birthday money. I have managed to earn small sums of money by competing at Grasmere and Ambleside sports. On Sunday the 3rd of September I will attempt the very tough Yorkshire three peaks challenge which is 24 miles includes 5200ft of ascent and takes on the peaks of Pen-y-gent, Whernside and Ingleborough.
It would be fantastic if you could sponsor me either for the three peaks walk or the overall challenge. I need to raise £4000 by May 2018 so every penny counts!
