I, as Jack Calloway have been entertaining crowds for the past, approaching, five years. My big break within the swing/jazz music and dancing scene came came a year and a half ago with the creation of The Jack Calloway Dance Band. The Dance Band carries itself as a small five piece dedicating itself to the dancehall music of the 1920's and 1930's, covering British, French and American swing/jazz movements.

Recently the great plan has sprung that The Jack Calloway Dance Band can become a completely dedicated, authentic 1930's Dance Orchestra, playing theatres, ballrooms and bandstands on the national and international scenes.

We are hoping, that with your help, we can get another foot on the ladder. Your kind donations will go towards sheet music, new arrangements, new musicians, custom music stands, rehearsals, recording (to vinyl), stage equipment and if possible the covering fee for a grand unveiling of epic proportions. We are hoping to unveil the fabulous Jack Calloway Dance Orchestra in all of it's finery in a large scale event in our founding city of Bristol.

The dance band's music is heard and loved by so many people, interestingly of varying ages. We're hoping that the Orchestra's music will be loved and heard by all ages across the country and overseas.

Our overall plan for the Orchestra is to perform live ticketed events whilst at the same time broadcasting a wonderfully orchestrated live dance show, in homage to the jazz and swing greats such as Henry Hall, Benny Goodman, Harry Roy, Jack Hylton, Ray Ventura, Charles Trenet etc, for without their amazing talents and years of dedication to music we would not have the sounds we hear today.
