    Story

We're raising money to help fund and create a sustainable method of farming called Aquaponics. We will be producing fresh and organic produce such as lettuce and kale all year round, and then eventually expand into other vegetables and fruits.

    Our idea?

Aquaponics in a nutshell, uses fish, in our case tilapia to nourish plants; such as lettuce, via the water they swim in , in return these plants filter the water, cleaning it for the fish to continue living in, a perfect symbiosis. This method of farming is also very self sustaining, as described, however we can also use the water the fish swim in the grow them food, such as Duckweed, this means we wont have to buy in fish food as often, effectively halving the cost to feed them. Along side this we will never introduce any chemicals or synthetic materials and substances to the cycle, making it 100% organic and pure. start to Finnish.

    How can you help?

With this money we aim to set up a business to supply local restaurants, hotels, schools and markets, allowing people to buy and eat organic foods that have never been in contact with any synthetic fertilisers or preservatives, and don't contain artificial colours or flavours while not have to pay high prices for them. We also aim to help any others who are interested in this method of sustainable farming design, develop and learn about aquaponics with a hands on tour of the final system as soon as its up and running.

    Thing to know?

    - our aquaponics system will be 100% sustainable and organic and will create no harm full waste.

    - We will supply better food for all in the UK, and possibly even world wide.

    - Our system has a very small footprint, meaning not much room is required to produce large quantities of sustainable food.
