    Story

    Sponsored Bike Ride

The Evley family will be cycling around Rutland Water on the 16th September to help raise funds for Jack to go to Ghana with Venture Force & East Leake Academy. We will be cycling 23 miles in total, hoping Lottie's little legs can keep up! The dogs may also join us which will make for an interesting ride

    Community Project

Jack will be travelling to Upper Volta Region of Ghana and staying in Nyagbo Sroe. The existing Kindergarten has a roof but no walls and, as the village is located at the top of a hill, the school is completely open to the elements. Jack will be helping the local community to create and lay the bricks to put walls on the Kindergarten. He will also be getting involved in teaching the local students and learning about the local culture.

The help of the team is vital to the development of this small village and will give the students a better chance of receiving the education they deserve. As a thank you from the village, they will take the team into their community for the duration of the expedition allowing them to experience the rich culture of this amazing village.
